Welcome to the Kingston Uniting Church library catalogue.  Although the library has only been recently established, we hope you find something that meets your needs.  Feedback and suggestions for additions to the library are welcome.

Online Library Catalogue

The library catalogue is hosted by a site called librarything.com.  This means that it is linked to other libraries and it is possible to view reviews provided by others.

To access the catalogue, click here.  To browse the entire catalogue click on the link ‘see catalog’ or to search for an individual item click on the ‘search’ tab.  To browse the catalogue using subject headings (tags), click on the appropriate tag provided.

If you have read a great book from our library, we would love to know about it.  Any reviews can be emailed to the librarian (don’t forget to include a rating out of 5).  Reviews will be added to the library catalogue and may also be included in the Church newsletter.

How to borrow from the Library

Library membership is available to all members of the congregation and library is open before and after the Sunday service.

• Patron’s contact details need to be provided.

• The borrowing period is limited to 4 weeks for books and videos. DVDs are to be borrowed for one week only. If an item needs to be renewed, please indicate this in the borrowing book.

• There are no set limits on the number of items that may be borrowed at any one time, but please be considerate of others.

• If you would like to reserve an item, please email the librarian.
