Who are we?
We are a pretty relaxed bunch and accept people as they are.
“We are people who are searching, dreaming and giving thanks for our lives. Come join us in discovering and celebrating what God is doing in our world.”
We love God, therefore we are a worshipping community, with a wide range of ages, interests and talents. Open every Sunday, our 10am worship is both modern and traditional. Led by our minister and other leaders, every week is a unique experience of God.
Our Church seeks to be a place of safety and acceptance.
We acknowledge the Mouheneener People, the traditional custodians of this land on which we gather to worship and serve.
The Kingston Uniting Church is on an exciting journey. We are building an Intentional Community. We have currently completed the first stage, involving residents who live in the adjoining supported accomodation, as well as the second stage, completing the new church building, manse and community centre.
Together we engage in events and projects such as our chook yard and community garden. We are currently pursuing the further development of our site to welcome yet more residential accommodation to further our vision of an intentional village.
The congregation has adopted the following priorities for 2016 and beyond:-KUC Consultation Report Oct 2016 KUC Vision and Mission Statement – Oct 2016
